Brian K. Coker, CFA | Biography

Brian’s investment experience spans 30 years.  In 1987, he joined Mercer Investment Consulting and was quickly promoted to Consultant where he provided investment guidance to large corporate pension plans.  After 11 years of institutional investment consulting, he joined National Asset Management, a boutique investment management firm that was later acquired by INVESCO.  Over the course of 10 years Brian worked with the firm’s largest clients as a Senior Relationship Manager.  In 2012, Brian joined Wespath, the investment division of The United Methodist Church.  In this role Brian’s clients were UMC affiliate organizations across the U.S. seeking faith-based investment options.

Brian is a proud alumni of Centre College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics in 1987.  Brian continued his education at the University of Louisville where he earned a Masters of Business Administration degree in 1993. He was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2000 and is a member of the CFA Society of Louisville.
